Cauliflower Bajo/ Cauliflower Phodi/ Cauliflower Fritters/ Gobi Pakora/ Cauliflower Pakoda ~ Simple & Easy Evening Snack
Cauliflower Fritters are easy to Prepare with few ingredients. It is yummy, delicious and perfect evening snack with Tea/ Coffee. This can be also served side dish or as starters with tomato ketchup/ coriander chutney
Recipe: Wash the cauliflower well, and chop it into small sized florets. Now rinse them in a bowl & then add them to hot water, add little turmeric powder & salt and keep it in the water for some time. Drain the water and keep cauliflower pieces aside. Now In another bowl, mix together gram flour/ besan, chilli powder, asafoetida powder, salt (to taste). Add water little by little and mix well till you get a thick batter (no lumps to be present in the batter). Dip the previously cut cauliflower in the prepared batter. Heat oil in a kadai, once the oil is heated drop the cauliflower dipped in batter into it and fry it till it becomes golden brown. Serve this Phodi/ fritters/ Bajji hot with mint chutney or coconut chutney or ketchup and enjoy the evening.
