Donne Mirsang Phodi (Bajo)/ Capsicum Fritters/ Shimla Mirchi Bajji/ Capsicum Bajji for evening Snacks

Capsicum Fritters are easy to Prepare with few ingredients. It is yummy, delicious and perfect evening snack with Tea/ Coffee.

Recipe: Wash the capsicum well, cut into small slices. In a bowl, mix together gram flour/ besan, chilli powder, asafoetida powder, jeera (optional), salt (to taste). Add water little by little and mix well till you get a thick batter (no lumps to be present in the batter). Dip the previously cut capsicum in the prepared batter. Heat oil in a kadai, once the oil is heated drop the capsicum pieces into it and fry it till it becomes golden brown. Serve this Phodi/ fritters/ Bajji hot with mint chutney or coconut chutney and enjoy the evening.
