Long Beans Stir-fry/ Alsande Upkari ~ A very simple, tasty, healthy stir-fry which goes ideal with Rice & Dalitoy





Ingredients:

  • Long beans - 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red chilli - 1
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste

Recipe:

Wash long beans (Alsande) properly. Cut the tips and chop it into 1 inch pieces (1 cup). Keep it aside. Heat oil in a kadai/ pan, splutter mustard seeds (1 tsp), add red chilli pieces (1 red chilli) & saute it. Add Alsande pieces, salt& mix well. Sprinkle water. Cook on low flame, under cover till done. Serve hot with Rice & Dalitoy (Konkani Style Dal preparation)
